Reduce Procurement Risk

Quality, Traceability & Documentation

Ask for the documentation package applicable to the exact surgical gown SKU, sterilization configuration and destination market.

ISO 13485 QMS

Quality-system documentation referenced in the original page; verify certificate scope and validity before publishing as a claim.

Sterilization Validation

EO / Gamma validation and batch traceability where applicable to the selected sterile configuration.

Material / Barrier Testing

Test documentation should correspond to the claimed AAMI protection level and finished gown construction.

Label & Technical Files

COA, IFU, lot identification, barcode / UDI and other files according to product and market requirements.

Compliance wording on a commercial landing page should match current certificates and test reports. Do not advertise “CE”, a protection level, cleanroom class or sterilization claim if the exact product / process evidence is not current and applicable.

Procurement FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Surgical Gown Sourcing

How do I choose between AAMI Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 surgical gowns?
Select the required protection level from the intended-use protocol and purchasing specification, then confirm the finished gown construction and supporting test documentation. Level alone should not be inferred only from fabric GSM.
Can I request reinforced surgical gowns?
Yes. The current product configuration supports partial chest / arm reinforcement and a fuller reinforced option. Include the reinforcement area, cuff type, size mix, packaging and quantity in the RFQ.
Can the gowns be supplied sterile?
The current page offers EO and Gamma sterile-pack options as well as non-sterile supply. Confirm the exact sterilization method, pouch configuration and required validation documents in the quotation.
What information is needed for an accurate surgical gown quotation?
Provide protection level, material / GSM, reinforcement, cuff, size mix, sterile or non-sterile packaging, branding, quantity and destination. These inputs are more useful than asking only for a generic unit price.
Do you support OEM or private-label surgical gowns?
The current product program includes label, artwork, logo printing and packaging customization options. Add market-specific labeling and documentation requirements to the RFQ.
